The beginning

I am excited about enrolling for my Masters in Public Health. I was trained as  a medical doctor in Uganda where I then worked in both rural and urban settings for about 2 years. I am especially passionate about community health and have found the existing disparities there-in rather overwhelming.

Money/ financing for health  and the appropriate utilization of those funds is very necessary in improving health. I hope that this course will enable me to have a broader perspective on the interactions and linkages between health and development, thus better equipping me to champion projects at the heart of health within the context of a developing country.
